Maidenhead United FC Ladies compete in the Southern Region Women's Football League Division 1 and are an integral part of Maidenhead United FC of whom compete in the Blue Square South.
Formerly Burnham LFC, Maidenhead United FC Ladies was newly formed at the
beginning of this season 08/09.
The closure of the Burnham team saw a summer of hard work by both the Maidenhead
United FC committee, Maidenhead Boys and Girls FC the team at Burnham
bring in a new management structure and an impressive group of new players ready
for the assault on both the league and cup competitions.
The first team will be supplemented by a reserve team that has been formed with
both experienced and youth players coming through the ranks from Maidenhead Boys
& Girls FC with the hope of providing a club where both Girls and Ladies can
enjoy football at all age groups at a good level.
Maidenhead United FC Ladies objective for the 08/09 season was promotion
to the Southern Region Premier Division which they achieved with only 4 points
dropped out of 48
