Our Club Tournament Weekend at Braywick

We will be holding our Annual 6aside Tournament on the weekend of Saturday 1^st and Sunday 2^nd July. Make sure you keep this weekend free to support the club at this event as the planning for this starts now. The Club relies on the profits from this successful event to subsidise the costs of running the club through the year. Of course the Committee and Managers cannot run the tournament weekend without a large band of volunteers from across all the teams at the club. So please help us out by letting us know as soon as possible that you are able to volunteer an hour of your time.

Following last season’s first year in competitive football playing 7aside, this team are currently playing Sundays 9aside in the NE Hants League. Despite struggling with the bigger pitches, longer games and the offside rule at the start of the season they have recently improved immensely. Squad is currently: Siobhan Veysey, Afiah Ntiri-Akuffo, Abena Ntiri-Akuffo, Nikki Proffitt, Anne Taylor, Rachel Ashworth, Chelsea Goodwin, Samantha Wakelin, Christina Nazif, Oksanna Innes and Captain Katie Stevenson. Although currently sitting 8^th out of 9 teams they recently tore up the form book when beating 6^th placed team 3-1 following earlier 6-3 and 9-0 defeats. Even when having to play with only 8 players in a couple of recent matches they still improved on results of earlier season fixtures with full squads.
