Our Club Tournament Weekend at BraywickWe will be holding our Annual 6aside Tournament on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July. The Club relies on the profits from this successful event to subsidise the costs of running the club through the year. Of course the Committee and Managers cannot run the tournament weekend without a large band of volunteers from across all the teams at the club. So please help us out by letting us know as soon as possible that you are able to volunteer an hour of your time.

Code of ConductParents and spectators have a great influence on children’s enjoyment and success in football. All children play football because they love the game and it’s fun. It is important to remember that however good a child becomes at football, positive encouragement will contribute to the enjoyment of football. The expectations and attitudes of parents and spectators have a significant bearing on a player’s attitude towards all people involved. In that spirit, MB&GFC encourages parents and spectators to: applaud good skills or sporting behaviour from both sides, never use foul or abusive language or get drawn into disputes, and always respect the referee’s decision. Remember that anytime a player wears the colours of MB&GFC on and off the pitch they are representing the club and its ideals. We ask all people involved with MB&GFC to please read the full code of conduct on our website (www.maidenheadfootball.com).
Club Outing to England U21s v Norway in ReadingOn Tue 28/2, on a bitterly cold night, the Club took an outing of more than 100 people from several of our boys and girls teams to see England men U21s play. The tickets only cost £2 per child and £5 per adult. Everyone seemed to enjoy the game and better still we brought them luck as they won 3-1! |
