TOMBOLA PRIZES BY 23RD JUNE PLEASE
Many of you will remember from last year’s tournament that we like to have a few fundraising stalls i.e. adult /children & football tombolas, also a pot of gold etc. These prove to be good fundraisers for the club. Well this year is no exception, therefore I am writing to ask if you could donate any of the following items: Children’s - Toys / Games / Videos / Football items (new or in good condition) / sweets / crisps / chocolate bars (any item you think may be suitable for a children’s Tombola). Adult – bottles of any kind / chocolates / candles / bubble bath /shampoo etc. Please fill a carrier bag with any items you wish to donate and hand back asap to your team manager. All items need to be given to me (Kim) by Friday 23rd June, this will then enable us to ticket the prizes ready for the tombolas.

Our 6aside Tournament – VOLUNTEERS PLEASEWe will be holding our Annual 6aside Tournament on the weekend of Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July. The Club relies on the profits from this successful event to subsidise the costs of running the club through the year. Of course the Committee and Managers cannot run the tournament weekend without a large band of volunteers from across all the teams at the club. So please help us out by volunteering an hour of your time. In addition to Kim’s request for help on the stalls we also require people to help out on a rota on the car park. Please contact Kevin Shea on 07785 723507 if you can help out by doing an hour or so on the car park on either Saturday or Sunday.
Presentation Night – Friday 30th June 7.30pm Please note that this will be held at Braywick Sports Ground, Braywick Road on the eve of the Tournament in the marquee.
Successful “Spring Ball” Dinner Dance – 2oth MayA big thank you to everyone who helped to make this event such a big success. The Club would particularly like to thank Kim and Maxine for their excellent work and attention to detail, making this fantastic fun for all those able to get a ticket. |
