 Club 6aside Tournament

Our popular Annual 6aside Tournament has been set for Saturday 7^th and Sunday 8^th July.  This event brings in a significant amount of income which subsidises the registration fees each year.  However, it cannot be run on the voluntary work of just the Committee and Managers so we require help from our players’ parents in order to make a success of the day.   Please therefore mark the dates in your 2007 diaries and support us by volunteering to give an hour or two of your time that weekend, letting your Team Manager know you are available.

 Club AGM

The date for the Club AGM has been set for Tuesday 12^th June and is a chance for parents of children at the club to meet the Committee and Managers to give their input.  The fees for club registration from July 2007 through to June 2008 will be decided at this meeting.

 U13/U12 Girls – News

This team only started playing last season in the Slough League where they played 7aside fixed venue at Kiddermister Park, Langley.  This season they have moved to 9aside in the NE Hants League on Sundays home and away.  The squad comprises Steph Paxton, Kat Powell, Annie Jones, Sophie Nancarrow, Megan Taylor, Paris Taylor, Sabreena Cherrington, Kirsty Battimelli, Zoe Mogford, Nicola Hoyle and Natasha Astle.  The team has scored 34 goals in the league and only conceded 12, though 9 of these came in one game against the likely champions.  They currently lie 3^rd in Division 1 out of 8 teams, having won 6, drawn 1 & lost 1.  In addition they have played the current leaders 3 times, drawing their first encounter before winning the second.  The third time they met was in an exciting cup tie which finished 1-1 after extra time and they eventually lost 4-2 on penalties but it was thrilling to watch.
